Turkey Avocado Burgers & Sides

Turkey Avocado Burgers & Sides

Avocado Turkey Burger

These burgers are healthy, gluten free and so delicious! They’re simple to make and are the moistest burgers I’ve ever had. The trick you must do, steam them!

Turkey Burgers:

  • 99% fat free turkey meat
  • 1 large avocado
  • ¼ of gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • low fat mozzarella
  • tablespoon of fresh chopped garlic
  • teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt (grinder from TJ’s)
  • teaspoon of garlic salt (grinder from TJ’s)
  • teaspoon of black pepper (grinder from TJ’s)

Directions:

Combine all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. You will want to use your hands when blending so the avocado blends well into the meat. Then form them into patties, which will be 4 (medium to large).

Turn a large pan to high and make sure the pan is sprayed with olive oil. The pan will need to be very hot so you can panfry the outsides of the patties. Once each side is crispy, you will then want to turn the pan down to low and let steam cook for 25 – 30 minutes.
