Molasses Banana Bread With Whipped Cinnamon Honey Butter

Molasses Banana Bread With Whipped Cinnamon Honey Butter

After such a success with our delicious and addicting cupcakes, I knew Greek Yogurt was going to be my ticket to another successful baking adventure. I tried my hand at tweaking my Banana Bread recipe and I was not disappointed. Greek Yogurt has become my new secret (but not so secret) weapon! This fluffy bread is a perfect recipe to have in your fall recipe arsenal, folks. And Greek Yogurt is the perfect ingredient to keep in your fridge!

Ingredients for bread
3 ripe bananas (mushed)
2 tbs molasses
1 egg
1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (I used Vanilla but plain would work well too)

2 cups of flour
1 1/2 tbs baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Ingredients for butter
1 cup softened unsalted butter
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs honey

Directions for bread
Preheat oven to 350 and prepare your pan (I used a rectangle loaf pan that I prepped with butter)
Blend your butter, sugars, yogurt, and mashed bananas together. When all of this is blended add your egg.
In separate bowl, put together your dry ingredients. Add them to your wet mixture slowly.
Finally, add your molasses! Make sure all your ingredients are mixed evenly.
Put your batter into your prepared pan, put in the oven, and bake for 30 mins (or until it passes the “toothpick” test).

Directions for whipped butter
Put your softened butter into the mixer on low.
Add your sugar and cinnamon. Mix until you have a light fluffy texture to your butter.
