1/2 cup creamy almond butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sucanat
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Mix almond butter until creamy. (I used a new jar that was in the cupboard, so it wasn’t stiff as it is coming from the refrigerator).
Stir in eggs, honey, vanilla and sucanat. Add salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Mix well.
Pour into a greased 8 X 8 inch baking dish.
Bake at 325 degrees for 13-17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Try not to eat the WHOLE pan!
P.S. I tried to make a Vegan version of this for my vegan friends. It tastes yummy, but it’s flat and looks uncooked. Guess the vegans have to use flour. Sorry, I tried. Maybe next time.
