Ingredients
Makes 20 squares
2 cups muesli
1 cup oats
1 ½ cups coconut
2 cups flour
200 g dried apricots, chopped
1 ¾ cups brown sugar
4 tablespoon golden syrup
250 g butter
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
What needs to be done
- Mix the muesli, oats, coconut, flour, apricots and 1 cup of sugar together in a bowl.
- In a saucepan melt together ¾ cup sugar, syrup and butter.
- Add the melted mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Press into a greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 180 ºC for 15-20 minutes.
- Once cooked, wait a couple of minutes and then cut into squares while still warm.
