A smoothie is a quick and easy way to start your day with a healthy kick. In the winter months though it is tempting to rather reach for a coffee or cup of tea to warm up. But now that you have some buttermilk in the fridge ready to use, why not try this warming winter buttermilk banana smoothie with touch of cinnamon for some sunshine and added comfort on those chilly mornings!
Buttermilk Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
600ml buttermilk
2 bananas
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
100g frozen / fresh berries (optional)
Method:
Add all your ingredients into a blender and mix together until smooth. Alternatively you can use a hand blender as well. Pour into a glass and sprinkle over a some cinnamon and enjoy!
