Deep Fried Oreo!

Deep Fried Oreo!
I don’t know why Oreo has become such a popular household name. It is just simple sandwich cookies! I still don’t know the reason… But we are one of those houses that Oreo can’t be missing from their pantries.

Now let’s talk about deep fried Oreo! Again I don’t know who invented this wicked recipe, but it is one of the genius recipes we love. These golden brown fire balls are crispy from the outside and the cream oozed out from the inside.

Many people use pancake mix as the batter, but I like to make it from scratch. It is super easy and the result is wonderful. All we need is lightly whisk flour, eggs, sugar, salt, baking powder and milk together. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Little lumps in the batter are totally ok. Just make sure it reaches the consistency that easy to coat the Oreo.

The oil has to be medium heat. Quickly dip the Oreos in and deep fried them for just about a minute or until golden brown. While deep frying them make sure you keep the children engage in something else otherwise this Oreo will just vanished before serve :)

Deep Fired Oreo

Ingredients:

10-12 Oreo

3/4 cup flour

1 large egg

1 tsp sugar

A pinch of salt

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup cold milk

Sift flour and baking powder in the mixing bowl. Crack the egg in, and then add sugar, salt and milk.

Whisk with the spoon until combine. It doesn’t need to be smooth.

Heat oil in the pan over the medium heat.

Dip each Oreo in the batter and slowly drop in the hot oil.

Deep fry them for a minute or until golden brown.

Serve hot and eat quick :)

By the way, you don’t wanna do this often! It is very delicious and addictive but also it is very high in calories and fat. So don’t forget your morning jogging after you had them.
