Crispy Kale Chips

Crispy Kale Chips

Kale chips are one of my sister and my favorite easy, healthy snacks to make when we crave something savory. Kale is a nutritional powerhouse, loaded with iron (it has more iron per calorie than beef!!), vitamin K and atioxidants to protect against cancer, vitamin A for eye health, vitamin C for immune health, calcium for strong bones, and is a great anti-inflammatory food. Get on the kale train, people!

Serves 1

You will need:

3 large handfuls of pre-washed kale leaves (stems removed)
olive oil
fresh cracked pepper
pinch Himalayan pink sea salt

Directions:

Preheat your over to 375F.

Place the kale on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil. Brush on a little olive oil to lightly coat the kale. Crack some fresh pepper over the kale and sprinkle on a pinch of sea salt.

Bake in your oven for about 20 minutes, or until the kale is crispy.

Remove from the oven and devour!

Enjoy! 🙂
