Cherry Banana Smoothie Bowl

Cherry Banana Smoothie Bowl

I love cherries and chocolate. Could eat it all day. Lucky for me, they both are rich in healthy antioxidants. This cherry banana smoothie bowl is simply the combination of frozen cherries, fresh banana, coconut water and yogurt. It is almost too good to be considered “healthy,” and tastes more like a dessert! If you can’t find frozen cherries at your grocery store, you can stock up on them during the summer and bag them yourself for the freezer. Just don’t forget to remove the pits before putting them in the freezer!

//The Benefits//

Cherries are known to have weight management benefits, be good for your sleep, and help with post-workout soreness. These are all great reasons to add them to your daily routine!

Bananas are a great post-workout food due to their low-glycemic carbs and good mix of vitamins and minerals to help you recover.

Walnuts are packed with healthy omega-3 fats which are known to decrease inflammation and be good for your heart. They are also a healthy protein source.
