Bust Off Fever – Chicken With Black Pepper And Celery

Bust Off Fever – Chicken With Black Pepper And Celery
There is a fever in our home again. Everyone has been very weak and tired lately. It’s so weird that we have just caught the fever a month ago and now we are in the same position again.

Our friends warned about the viral outbreak in the city so we need to very careful in public places and try avoiding eating out.

Today I decided to cook something that increase immunity and help us fight the fever. I know exactly what to make. Chicken with black pepper and celery was something we ate since childhood while fighting cold.

Black Pepper Health Benefits: commonly use for respiratory disease, cough, cold, constipation, digestion, muscular strain and heart disease.

Celery Health Benefits:  Celery is a good source of vitamin c, folic acid and potassium. It helps in enhancing the activity of white blood cells and lower blood pressure. It also reduces cholesterol in blood.

Chicken with Black Pepper and Celery

Ingredients: (4 servings)

300 gm Boneless chicken- sliced

4 cloves garlic- minced

1 onion- diced

1 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

A handful celery leaves – chopped

1 tbsp light soy sauce

1/2 tsp sugar

A pinch of salt

Heat oil in the medium pan over the medium-high heat.

Add garlic and onion and stir until onion is soft and translucent.

Add chicken, black pepper powder, sugar, salt, and light soy sauce.

Stir fried for 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked thoroughly. Add about 1/4 cup of water if it is too dried.

Add chopped celery and mix well.

Turn off the heat and serve over the hot rice.

It is not easy to feed sick people. They become so picky and really don’t wanna eat anything. I’m glad they finished this because I know this dish is so healthy and good for them.

When someone in your family’s unwell, what’s special food you usually prepare for them? Do you get upset when it is so difficult to feed them?

Have a healthy day,
