Stuffed Apples

6 Large Cooking Apples (not peeled)
1/2 cup of whole Walnuts
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1-2 teapsoons of Cinnamon
water to cover the bottom
3 teaspoons of Butter (1/2 for each apple)

Preheat oven 350f

Wash and core apples.
WHEN CORING: Don’t hollow all the way,leaving about 1/2 an inch intact at the bottom of the apple.

In the bottom of baking dish- add hotwater (just to cover), sprinkle in cinnamon, and a little brown sugar…

Place apples in water

Mix stuffing- Walnuts, Cinnamon & brown sugar..
Stuff in filling in apples, add a 1/2 teaspoon of butter and sprinkle on some cinnamon…
Bake for 30-40 minutes

Serve with Mascarpone, Yoghurt or ice-cream… As you can see we made ours a little extra special
