Single Serve Mug Cake

Single Serve Mug Cake

Can you tell I have a sweet tooth yet?  I am always looking for small treats I can make if a craving pops up so I can enjoy yummy foods while staying healthy. This one is the best for chocolate cake cravings!

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp almond meal

1 Tbsp raw cacao powder

1/2 banana

1 egg

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a mug (yes, like a coffee mug) and mix well until there are no lumps.  Microwave for 90 seconds. you won’t believe your eyes when a mini cake comes out! Simply flip the mug over onto a plate and top with your favorite ingredients – I usually go for a few berries or some shredded coconut.  In this photo I used some yogurt mixed with honey, and cacao nibs sprinkled over it.  Experiment with your favorite toppings!
