Moroccan Spiced Lamb Meatballs

Moroccan Spiced Lamb Meatballs

If you like eating lamb, & have already tried my Greek style lamb meatballs, you’ll definitely love this version with Moroccan spices. They’re great for an easy weeknight dinner, paired with a green salad with fresh figs & fig balsamic vinegar, or made in a mini version as a party appetizer. I like serving them with a fig compote or olive tapenade for dipping in at get togethers.

INGREDIENTS

1 LB ground lamb
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon onion powder
salt & pepper to taste
PREPARATION

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lamb & spices, & mix well with your hands. Form into 1 inch meatballs for small sized bites, place on a foil lined baking sheet or large baking dish, & cook for about 25 minutes.
